Site gone and no redirect working

  I had paid for a redirect of my site KeepItSweetBlog.com but now the site does not exist. I also recently renewed the hosting so I don’t know why the redirect is not working. Can you please help me with this asap?

  The new website I’m trying to direct to is KeepItSweetDesserts.com

  Are you trying to get your domain “keepitsweetblog.com” to work with your WordPress.com account?

  If so, you need to have the domain mapping upgrade. Let me know if that’s the case and I’ll give you a credit for the site redirect and you can purchase the domain mapping upgrade. After that, there’s a few settings that you will need to change with your domain registrar, but I can help point you in the right direction for that.

  Hi – I just want the keepitsweetblog.com to redirect to keepitsweetdesserts.com. I don’t need keepitsweetblog to be accessed. Does that make sense?

  It does! That also means you don’t need a site redirect unless you also want to redirect traffic going to keepitsweet.wordpress.com to keepitsweetdesserts.com.

  To redirect keepitsweetblog.com to keepitsweetdesserts.com, you can set up a site redirect through your domain host DreamHost. Here’s a link that might be useful:
  http://wiki.dreamhost.com/Redirect_Domain

  Let me know if you want to redirect your keepitsweet.wordpress.com site to keepitsweetdesserts.com and I can make that change for you.

  So is it a Dreamhost issue if they say I have a redirect but it is not working?

  I’m not sure – I disabled the redirect for your WordPress.com site so if you set it up with Dreamhost, it might take a few hours for things to reset.

  Check your settings on Dreamhost and let me know if you have any questions for the WordPress.com side of things! If the Dreamhost redirect works, I’ll be happy to refund the redirect you bought on WordPress.com for you.
