Site hacked.
-
A week ago I reached out to support that someone was trying to change my password.
I haven’t heard back from them, and now I am completely unable to access my site – it’s not showing up in my admin panel. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
What is the site not appearing for you? I have a feeling that it’s a different one than the site automatically generated for the support request.
-
My domain. It’s logging me in at my xxxxx.wordpress.com site, but my xxxx.com site is no longer listed under “My Sites” in my admin panel.
-
If you can tell us the actual domain, that would help. Keep in mind that if the site isn’t hosted on WordPress.com servers, then the forums at https://wordpress.org/support will be better for this question. Here’s a bit about the differences- https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Thanks!
The site is nifflankenau.com.
The site is up and intact, I just can’t access it anymore from the admin panel. I was able to last week, but then I started getting notifications that someone was trying to change my password (I messaged support but that too seems to have disappeared.) I changed my password, things were fine, but now I can’t access it.
Appreciate the help!

Looks like you have two accounts. Try
niff314as a username instead of an email for the other one?My guess on the resets is that someone thought this username
parthenonor email connected to it belonged to them. Because you own the email, they cannot get those resets and login as you. Of course, updating your own passwords for WordPress.com and your email account to prevent someone else accessing your accounts never hurts. You were getting those resets and logged in to that account instead of the one that owns the site, I expect. -
Ah! That did it! Thank you so much. Sorry if I sounded cranky – I was in a bit of a panic mode there for a second. :)
