Site hacked/accidentally deleted.

This is a question about a friend’s site…
His site was supposedly hacked, and deleted.
He never meant to delete it, nor did he, and really wants it back.
Is there /ANY/ way to recover the site?
He had the latest version of WordPress and all that…

Ignore the “The blog I need help with is __________”…
I actually need help with http://nintendocenter.wordpress.com

nintendocenter.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this blog.see here please: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/How many offical users did that blog have?
How many had Admin or Editor status?
How many people had access to the log-in information for that blog?
If your friend was the only user of that blog and no-one else had access to the log-in information then it sounds as if the blog may have been hacked.
Your friend needs to go to his email program and change the password to a very difficult one now > Read > http://en.support.wordpress.com/security/
I have flagged this thread for Staff attention.

Hi tannokidude,
In addition to the timethief’s suggestion to update the password for their email account, can you have the blog owner reply to this forum thread? We’ll need to continue this with him.
Thanks!

Hello I am the owner of niintendocenter. Also I have found out what happend my lapptop got hacked and had a couple virures which are taken care of now thanks to my local best buy also they think they know what happend to the site because I had a file which had all of my account passwords on my laptop and I used the same password with all of my accounts including my site. So they think that the virus or hacker tried to delete all of my accounts also I now have new passwords for all of my current accounts. But now I try to make my site again but it says I can’t use the name nintendocenter anymore.

Hi nintendportal,
The blog address is unavailable because when a blog is deleted, that address is no longer available.
Can you confirm that you’ve changed your WordPress.com account password from the Settings tab on the WordPress.com home page, as well as the password linked to your email address?
(If someone has access to your email account, they can reset your WordPress.com account password.)
You can see suggestions on selecting a strong password here:
