Site has been hacked, would like to remove and rebuild a totally new site in its slot

    My site adventurechartersherveybay.com.au has been hacked, it redirects users to an online drug store. I have backed up the site from a date before the hack, however, we’d prefer to build a whole new site. Can I delete this site to free up a build slot on my account so I don’t need to buy another one?

    Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.     It was also not using our backup product https://jetpack.com/upgrade/backup/ so we won’t be able to directly assist with that.
