  I have created site and completed all steps but the site doesnt seems to have gone live. How much time does it take for general public to access thesite?

  Correct account: Yes

  It can take a few hours. I can see that site online. If you can’t then perhaps refresh your browser.

  It takes Google about 6 weeks to pick up and index a new site. The best thing to do during that time is to continue adding unique content to your site. I would suggest doing this through posts, that you can link on the site under 1 page in the menu. Most folks would title that menu item “blog” but you can do whatever fits your project/style.
