Site host name does not match your SSL certificate Subject Name

  • Unknown's avatar

I need to get urgently a new SSL certificate by a Certificate Authority (CA) with a “Subject Name” or “Subject Alternative DNS Names” that matches your host name.
As a result, many web browsers will block users from accessing your site, or display a security warning message when your site is accessed.
Please help me as soon as possible to solve the issue so I will not loose to many readers.
Thank you in advance for your prompt answer.

If you are trying to access a site on WordPress.com with a custom domain using the https:// version of the address, you will get an SSL warning (which will vary a bit between browsers). This is expected, because WordPress.com doesn’t support SSL for mapped domains.
