SIte icon

    On one of my WordPress blog sites, I didn’t add any icon image using Manage–>Settings–>Site Icon. It is blank, but somehow my WordPress site does have an icon in bookmarks.
    Contradictory to that, on one of my other WordPress blog sites, I did follow the process. I added an icon image using Manage–>Settings–>Site Icon. But this site does not show any icon on the bookmarks.
    Can you help?
    Is there any other way to add icon image to the WordPress site?
