My site icon is not showing up when I post my blog link. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It might be a browser issue.
Try these:
1. Check your site on some other browser.
OR
2. Open incognito mode and check your site.
OR
3. Clear your browser caches and cookies and try again.
OR
4. If you just uploaded the site icon, wait for some time.Read these information about clearing browser cache and cookies:

Thanks for your feedback @otpidusprime! I’ve checked from my phone, different browsers, and other friends. When I post my link to FB or messenger, it just shows wording, not the icon. I’m not sure what’s wrong. :(

Yes, but try typing my link in a FB post or through messenger. It doesn’t show up for some reason?

It might be a caching issue on the server side. Wait from sometime it will be solved automatically. As WordPress.COM clears it’s cache usually every 3 days.

Make sure the file size of the site icon is not too big. Otherwise there might be issues while Facebook is pulling that file.

It should be 32 x 32px-max .png or .ico format usually. But WordPress sometimes takes care of it so you don’t have to worry about it.
Just make sure the file size is not too big, when you upload it on your WordPress site.
