Site icon doesn’t show

  Hi!
  My site icon doesn’t show on my website. I’ve got it all set up correctly within the customize theme section. It does show on my tab when I’m editing in my WordPress environment, but not when I go to my website directly.
  How is this possible and how can I fix it? Please note that I’m not technical and really want to go for the easiest solution possible, without changing things in code etc. :)

  Can you please share your site’s URL so that we can check further.
  Did you also happen to check it in the Settings.
  If not please go to,
  My Site → Settings, and in the General tab, click on the Change button.

  It appears that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
