Site icon is scaled improperly

  Hi,

  I have the The Columnist theme. I love it. But it rescale the site icon in a way that looks weird on mobile phone. For the logo, I’ve used a perfectly sized 512 x 512 picture, but when I save the website on my iPhone it looks weird, as if it was cropped and moved.

  Do you have any advice on how to fix that?

  Can you confirm which image on your site you’re referencing when you mention your ‘Site Icon’?

  Since WordPress 4.3, ‘Site Icon’ refers to the image that appears on the tab in most browsers:

  WordPress 4.3 Adds New Site Icons Feature and a Text Editor to Press This

  This is a built in feature and not dependent on your theme.

  If you’re referring to a different image, can you be more specific so that I can point you in the best direction for further help?
