  I uploaded a site icon but it doesn’t show on the home page. It does show on other pages tho.

  Hi there,

  The site icon on WordPress.com doesn’t show on your site. Rather, that icon is set as the favicon that appears in the browser tab when someone loads your site:

  It’s also the image that search engines and social media services will associated with your homepage, i.e. if you share a link to your homepage on Facebook or Twitter, the preview generated there will show the site icon.

  The image appearing at the top of your front page is the site logo. You can of course use the same image as logo and site icon – many people do exactly that – but they are two different things in terms of what they are and what they’re used for.
