Site import – need help canceling

I initiated an import of my old site into wordpress.com. I didn’t realize there was a file size limitation, so my import has now been stuck with 6,000+ files remaining to load for nearly 4 weeks. I’ve not been able to find any way to stop the import and restart with smaller file sections. I used the chat to reach out to support but haven’t received any follow up from a Happiness Engineer. I’m hoping to get some help here. I just need the current import stopped/wiped out so I can start afresh.

Hi @shannahhayley, I have reset the import on your site. Please feel free to initiate another import by breaking your XML file into small sizes. Let us know how it goes.

Thank you for the reset! I restarted an upload using a zip file that’s only 3.72Mb. Yet it is still getting hung up at the same point with 6,386 files remaining. It’s been stuck at that point for more than 24 hours now.

hi, could you please reset uploads for medicininfos.wordpress. content upload has been stuck for few months now. error says simultaneous uploads not allowed. thx

Hi @shannahhayley, I’m sorry to hear you are still experiencing this issue. We’ve reset the importer and followed up with you by email to look into this further. Please check your email and respond there.
Hi @tunisante1, we’ve sent an email to you as well to understand more about the issue. We don’t see that an import is in progress currently for that site. You can reply to the email to provide further information.
