Site inaccessible error
-
Hi there,
When I try to connect to WordPress.com, I keep getting the following error:
Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible
Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [HTTP 404]. Ask your web host if they allow connections from WordPress.com. If you need further assistance, contact Jetpack Support: http://jetpack.me/support/
I’m not sure why my site is inaccessible, or what to request of my web host in this case if it’s them who’s blocking something.
Any advice you could offer would be extremely useful.

Could you try and disable all other plugins and reactivate Jetpack. This way we can see if other plugins interfere with Jetpack.
Also make sure you are running the latest WordPress and Jetpack version:

Hi there,
I tried deactivating all plugins and it didn’t help. My versions of both Jetpack and WordPress are up-to-date.
Cheers!

Could you (temporarily) switch to the default Twenty Ten of Twenty Eleven theme? Let me know if that helps.
