Site infected by malware?

  A message was received that when clicking on a link to my site it said the site was infected by malware. How do I tell where the site is from? It was suggested I check my site’s security. How do I do this?

  I don’t get a malware warning. I’m using Firefox 23. Which browser and version of it are you using?

  In cases like this what’s most often t the source is an image. However, as we cannot see this “malware” warning we cannot determine the source of the malware.

  Thanks for your feedback! I didn’t get the message myself but was notified that someone did. And when I clicked on the link I didn’t get the message either. I too am using Firefox. According to the dashboard others have been able to see the post too – another reason I’m confused.

  I’ll try reloading the photos and see if makes a difference to the person who sent me a message.
