Site is missing

    I wanted to change my site name from brooketaylordesign to brooketaylorstudio and Googled how to and they said just go to settings and change it. I did that and now it doesn’t show my site at all in my sites page on WordPress.

    Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host brooketaylordesign.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting.

    To explain, we are a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions.

    Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at Bluehost. It sounds like you made a URL change in your WordPress settings, but if you are able to set it back to the original address, you will be able to reconnect and see the content hosted with Bluehost. WE use a different method for changing your site address on WordPress.com, so we can’t walk you through how to do that on your site.

    You definitely have the option to move your site to us so we can provide in-house help, but as it stands now, we cannot help since it is hosted elsewhere.

    The good news is that your hosting provider may be able to help in this instance since changing your site address usually involves registering a new domain name. I recommend contacting Bluehost for further assistance since they are in the best position to help. Thanks!
