  before the ads appeared, the site was fine. now it is unusable, very slow and actually not showing home page at all when you return from a post. it has nothing to do with the computer i am using because it happens on multiple computers. please help.

  I’m on a PC loaded with windows 7 and using Firefox 41 and your site loaded instantly for me. I don’t run an adblocker and cannot see any ads on your site, so what do you mean by ads please?

If the ads you see are found at the end of blog posts then provided you see this small About These Ads link what you are seeing is WordPress.com generated advertising. http://en.wordpress.com/about-these-ads/

  Any other ads appearing to you are not placed by WordPress.com. You have an issue on your browser or computer. They are being placed there by software on your own computer, unfortunately. These ads are sometimes caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or toolbar that you may have installed in your browser.
