Site is not visible – robots.txt blockade
-
Hello,
About a year ago, I launched the site on worpress.com, and the first content I put on it 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, the site is not visible at all – I used the “site:” tool to check this.
I also found out that robots.txt blocked the visibility of my site – that was the message on the page:
User-agent: *
Disallow: / wp-admin /
Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
Disallow: /wp-login.php
Disallow: /wp-signup.php
Disallow: /press-this.php
Disallow: /remote-login.php
Disallow: / activate /
Disallow: / cgi-bin /
Disallow: / mshots / v1 /
Disallow: / next /
Disallow: /public.api/I do not know why, because from the beginning I turned on the page’s visibility for search engines. What can I do now? Pls help,
Thank you,
BThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, your site is visible to both human visitors and to search engines. The above robots.txt doesn’t interfere with robots crawling your posts and pages. It simply keeps robots from crawling the underpinnings of your website.
…and the first content I put on it 2 weeks ago
It can take 4-6 weeks before search engines start showing results for your site in their search returns. The best thing you can do is to keep posting regularly, if you use only images on your website, make sure to add some text and alt-text to those images as well. You can find more tips about search engines on our support guide at https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/
Hope that helps but let us know if you have any other question about this after reading that support guide.
