Site issues

We were here yesterday with the same issue, our .com domain isn’t being picked up by Google whatsoever. (www.bazaardaily.com). The last time it was visited by Google was 4/26/2012. Somebody mentioned that the robots file may be blocking Google from picking it up? But we’re not sure hwo to check and possibly fix that.
We’ve put so much time into this blog and we don’t want to continue to lose it, can someone please help us figure out why all of a sudden our .com vanished from Google searches? Past .com articles (from at least 4 days ago and beyond) are findable but new ones we are publishing are not.
But, say, if we switch it back to our original WP domain, it’s indexed almost immediately. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you would link your name to your blog on your profile page, that can only help. For one thing, we could look at the blog and tell you if you were doing something wrong.
I see two other threads on the same issue that you’ve posted in. Has anything at all changed, to make a new thread necessary?
Do NOT switch between domains. That is completely the wrong thing to do. Domains take time to rise in search engine standings. When you change it, you start again from zero. Pick the one you want to build on and stick with it.

We haven’t changed domains (at least for more than 2 seconds). I created a post and uploaded after having switched to our WP domain for a moment, and it was almost immediately picked up by Google.
Put it back to our .COM domain and it isn’t ;picked up by Google at all in anyway. Our safebrowsing page says they lasted visited 4/26. Is something wrong with our blog? http://www.bazaardaily.com.

We’ve had and stuck with the .COM domain since day 1. It out of no where just stopped being picked up by Google, and hasn’t been visited in a little less than a week.

The WordPress.com domain has a history that is longer than your custom domain. That is why it’s better indexed. Every time you move OFF your custom domain, even for a second, you cause it to fall behind.
There is no www in your URL at all. It is http://bazaardaily.com/ and when you go looking for stats on it, that is the URL to use. Putting the www will give you inaccurate results.
In one of the other threads I gave you advice about how more posts on your front page would help. Additionally, I’m not sure if it’s a quirk of that theme, but the “Latest Posts” link at the top of the page goes nowhere. Having a link at the top of your page that goes nowhere is always a bad idea.
-
Could you tell me how to add more posts to the front page? I’m not all that savy with the theme options and such.
-
Would we have better luck if we somehow figured out how to get a www. in front of our domain?
-
No, WWW will HURT your domain, not help it.
To change the number of posts on the front page, go to Settings->Reading and change it to whatever number you like. We recommend 5; that seems to maximize the number of posts that get read.

It’s a habit. WP.com does not even ALLOW www domains. If you type it in, your computer can find the real address, but it’s just basically extra garbage the browser has to ignore.
-
Do you have any other suggestions to fix this problem? I was able to do the five post thing on our pages that actually looks a bit better than it did before.
