    I’ve completed set up.
    How do I launch my site as a stand-alone site, not linked to LinkedIn or any other social media site?

    That site is already public so that anyone can see it, so you’ve already launched it. At the moment you do have that site hidden from search engines. If you want people to be able to find the site in Google searches, you can set it fully public at My Site ->Manage ->Settings.

    A WordPress.com site is not by default connected to any other service. It would only be connected to a social media platform if you went into Tools ->Marketing ->Connections, and deliberately create that connection.
