site launch and blog start up

    Hey, I am having serious trouble trying to start up my blog. I have gotten a WP and Bluehost package through Scott Chow’s blog (TheblogStarter) and I followed the prompts from the very beginning. Chose my domain, created my site and proceeded to launch. However, when I tried launching my site, it wouldn’t get off the loading page. When I closed it hours later and opened it up again, it had gone onto the wordpress site and it said ‘coming soon’ and to launch my site. I went to website builder and finished the design of my site and then published it. It says that my site is live although when you google search the domain, it is nowhere to be found. I have followed Scott Chows tutorial on how to write the blogs and his layout I very different to mine as well. Can someone please help me with this as I feel like it’s set up all wrong.

    Your site is loading fine for me. Did you manage to get this working?

    But for future reference, your site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at Bluehost.com. You can access the site from your WordPress.com account because you have it connected here via the Jetpack plugin, but we have no direct control over your site itself.

    In this forum we can help to a limited extent with some features of the Jetpack plugin, but for general help and advice with the WordPress software you’re using, you should ask the WordPress.org community. They provide support for the version of WordPress you’re using:

    And for help with anything related to your hosting, or Bluehost’s website builder tool, it’s best if you contact Bluehost support directly.
