Site layout using forwarding
-
So I have 1 server that is tied to an adress.
The wordpress is in a sub folder and I bought a domain name for it and forwarding the adress to it.So example:
http://www.site.com is the server.http://www.site.com/wpress is where my wordpress resides.
http://www.newsite.com is a domain I bought and I use masked forwarding to redirect to http://www.site.com/wpress
Now everything is working fine on PC
But when i visit the site on a mobile phone, the http://www.newsite.com layout is wrong, like if the site dosent know I am on mobile. It only works fine on mobile if i visit the site through its ‘real’ URL http://www.site.com/wpressAny ideas as too why it does that and if there is a way to fix it?
Using WordPress 4.5.3 running Byblos theme.
Godaddy hosting
using forwarding with maskThanks in advance for anyones input and time on this.

I looked to edit the post, i must be blind.
Had a better title for the question I guess, since I have been testing with another site and different theme.Basically when forwarding domain, wordpress does not pick up on the platform being used.
hope someone has an idea, it has been a real brain teaser for me and any friends in the field.
thanks

Interesting behavior. Since this is the support forum for WordPress.com sites hosted only here at WordPress.com, we don’t have the same environment.
Ask your question in the forums over at WordPress.org where you will find more experience with redirects.
