Site link in image?
-
OK, I’ve managed to put an image in the sidebar, using the Text Widget. Now I want add a link to a particular site. How do I do that?
Here’s the code.
For the image:
<img src=”http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g299/paulk58/blsmall.gif” border=”0″ alt=”Photobucket”>
The address I want to link to is:
http://www.beatlelinks.net/links/
Thanks in advance.
Paul.

Sorry, for some reason not all the code comes out when I post. Here it is again with some spaces so it comes out:
<img src=”http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g299/paulk58/blsmall.gif” border=”0″ alt=”Photobucket”>

It still won’t come out, so if anyone can help with the link problem I’ll mail you the code!
Thanks.

If you’re not sure about links an easy way to do it is to pretend you’re writing a new post. Import the image into your editor using the insert/edit image icon (#12 below) and then select it and click on the link icon (#10). You can put the address in there, then just copy the code and paste it into the text widget. Much simpler than trying to hand code.

<a href="http://www.beatlelinks.net/links/"><img src="http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g299/paulk58/blsmall.gif" alt="Photobucket" border="0" /></a> -
