Site Live Page different than Preview Page

site live page is different from the preview page, i have tried all the solutions given in the wordpress forums but none seemed to worked. I tried clearing the cache as well. Does updating everything(Plugin and wordpress) resolves this issue?
We have this problem before too and I updated everything but it did not work.
It is a company website so i cannot update everything into the latest version whenever I want it. Because sometimes many things changes after updating and we do that very carefully and the person who does updating is not me.
Can someone provide me a solution for this problem if you have faced this already.
