Site Loading – Intermittent problems/blank page or very slow

  Today I have had several readers tell me that they’re once again having problems accessing my blog – I presume for the same reason as yesterday (stats update).

  Here is what one reader said:

  “This morning I could see your blog – this afternoon it could not be accessed and this evening it is blank again..”

  I am in Montreal, Quebec and this particular reader is in Mass., U.S.A.

  I’m a stone’s throw from Mass. and it loaded fine for me and quickly (Great postcards!)

  I just did two tries at loading:
  Try number 1 – long delay then the page opened up with some of the text from the front page but with a white background and none of the features from the theme.
  Try number 2 – blank grey screen with rotating circle and error message “waiting for stats.com” followed by loading of page – and eventually access to dashboard.
  I guess this is only my problem since no one else is posting about this, so perhaps I’ll contact staff directly.

  See the yellow banner at the top of the main forum page, and also see the sticky post (yellow section) at the top of the main forum page about “blog stats.” This may be what is causing thing to be slow for you right now.
