Site loading slow – why?

  My site is loading slowly and I’m not sure why.

  – We have a good hosting service (Dreamhost) so no problems there
  – Turned off plug ins & cleared cache
  – Compressed most images
  – Uses HTTPs

  Is there anything I can do besides clearing the cache that could help?
