Site loading so slowly that people are leaving

  My site is http://danielfast.wordpress.com and for some reason the pages are loading so slowly that people are leaving before they get what they need. Most people visit the site at this page first: http://danielfast.wordpress.com/daniel-fast-food-list/

  Do I need to buy more space or upgrade in another way? Help!

  One more thing . . . after the page is trying to load for about four or five minutes, a message comes up saying the page is running a script causing the web browser to run slowly. As soon as I choose to stop the script, the page loads quickly.

  You have several hundred comments on the page you’ve set it to open at. That’s what happens when you do that.

  The solution is to go to your Discussion settings and set the comments to break into pages every 50 comments or so.

  You’re welcome. I have a post with over 2000 comments, but I just love seeing them laid out on one page, so I leave it even though I’ve had complaints. It’s not the opening page, though.
