Site loading speed and other technical issues

I’ve check my speed on a free speed checker, and got an F 34% on the speed, also an F on minimize redirect and enable keep alive and defer parsing of javascript. Two more Fs on serve resources from consistent url and leverage browser caching.
I have no knowledge with computers and have no idea how to fix these issues.
It says to remove the following redirect, but I’ve no idea how to even find these redirects. It also says 1.4MiB of JavaScript is parsed during initial page load. Defer parsing JavaScript to reduce blocking of page rendering.
How can I fix this? I don’t really know what it means. Would appreciate advice.

Got an D 70 on performance.
I suppose a D isn’t too bad, and isn’t going to stop the search engines from finding my blog. They already have, but just one in a few days. Probably has to do with lack of links, and I’m working on it.

Yeah, take those recommendations with a grain of salt. They’re just suggestions to improve it, not a score that represents anything, which is why I’m not a fan of this whole “grading” thing.
What matters there in that report is your site loaded in 1.37 seconds, that’s what the search engines care about. :)
