Site Malfunctioned

    My website was connected to WordPress up until yesterday when, after running several plug-in updates, the site refused to load, instead returning the error message:

    ParseError thrown
    syntax error, unexpected ‘=’

    In attempting to rectify the problem the site domain became disconnected from WordPress and any attempt to reconnect it seems to require purchasing a new annual plan. Is there a way this problem can be fixed? Thank you!
