  Is it possible for two computers to be logged in to my dashboard at the same time?

  Yes, you can :) There is no such restriction to access the WP dashboard area simultaneously.

  Yes that is possible.

  Ideally you wouldn’t want to use the same account as so to not overwrite ones actions against the other.

  No, this doesn’t help. It seems to contradict another reply I received at the same time from another member of your team, who said that there is no restriction.

  Also, I only have one account, so I don’t see how it’s possible to log in with a different account.

  What I want is for two people to have access to editing the site at the same time so that they can discuss and make changes together.

  For that, you will want to use two different accounts (each person will have their own account) and give the other the permission you want:

  https://wordpress.com/support/user-roles/.

  Depending on the role you set for that other account, they will have different permissions.
