Site mapping to a custom domain name

Hello, I am the owner of curious.wordpress.com, which used to be mapped to curious.com. However I decided not to renew the mapping, and the mapping has expired now.

I was expecting that my blog would be available under curious.wordpress.com, but it’s not. Instead it’s showing the same error message as when I try to access pcurious.com (which understandably display an error message).

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sorry, the automatic spelling changed the blog names…

So, pcurious.wordpress.com used to be mapped to pcurious.com This is no longer the case, so understandably, when I go to pcurious.com, it’s displaying an error message.

But why is pcurious.wordpress.com not working any more?

    Thanks a lot in advance!

  • Hi there,

It looks like the expired mapping was still connected to the site, causing the warning message to appear. I’ve removed the expired mapping upgrade, so the free address should now again work like before. You might need to clear your browser cache for the change to take effect.
