site margins and padding

    Like so many other folks, I am struggling to edit the padding and margins on my site, namely the empty space between the header and page content. I have read so many how-to’s, watched so many videos, and tried so many things. I have successfully shrunk the space but some pesky space remains (see screenshot; please ignore my missing custom font at this point). I am using a child of Theme 2024. I have tried custom CSS, editing theme.json, and changing block settings. I have looked at margins and padding within blocks on each page. I have tried to find out how to unlock the general “Content” block in the theme editor, but haven’t been able to. Nothing has worked, and it feels like banging my head against the keyboard at this point, especially because I know so many others have this issue. There are so many ways to “fix it,” but none seem to work for me.

    I have basic knowledge of CSS but almost no experience with JSON. I’d appreciate any assistance or ideas to try!
