Site Name
-
Hello, I’m having a very hard time with your site. Last year, I started a blog for school. I never used it and wanted to change the name, site and overall everything to start fresh. It somehow instead created another site, which I deleted because I didn’t want an additional blog, but now I cannot change the original blog’s name to the additional blog I created and then deleted. Right now my site is mollyjhalfman, which I thought I changed to CampVagabond, now I can’t use CampVagabond! I’m very confused and don’t know what to do! If it was my own site and I deleted it why won’t it let me use the name? I just wanted to change my original site name, please help me!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

https://campvagabond.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.
Hi there,
I’m sorry you were so confused that you deleted the site. Unfortunately, you ignored multiple warnings that site deletion was permanent and irreversible and deleted the URL. I am sorry but you cannot claim a deleted blog URL. No one can use a deleted blog URL regardless of who registered it. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled here and you can confirm by reading:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/However, you can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

Too bad, that really is a bummer. Unfortunately, that is how WordPress.com works. Sites once deleted cannot be reused, not even by their owners. That is exactly why they make it so hard to delete a site.
I am afraid, you will not get that site or the site URL back again.Your options are to choose a different name and use that or buy the domain CampVagabond.com and use that instead of mollyjhalfman.wordpress.com.
