Site name

    Hello,

    I deleted my website a few minutes ago. Just to check what happens. It deleted the total website, so also the website name, right?

    Because I want to start e new website with the same name that I deleted before. But that suggestions is not available.

    Do I have to wait? Or is that site name never available again?

    You’ll have to pick a new name. Warnings tell you this as you go through the Delete process and also the WordPress Support article on deleting your site mentions it in the first sentence:

    Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).
