    I want to drop ‘my’ from the beginning of my site address. I would like the option of registering my site in the future. Do I have to totally delete this account and create a new one? Current: My Art Asylum for the Artistically Crafty. THE ONE I WANT: Art Asylum for the Artistically Crafty.

    If you would like to change your WordPress.com site’s URL, there are options and instructions for doing so here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

    Please bear in mind that once changed, that site’s original WordPress.com URL will become permanently unavailable for future use by you or any other user. If you feel that you might need that URL again in the future, you might consider starting a new site with your preferred name rather than changing the name of your existing site.
