  Is there any way I can change my site name from http://audrey_(intentionally withheld)_blog.wordpress.com to http://__(intentionally withheld)__.wordpress.com?
  I accidentally started the blog on my husband’s account then realized I needed to use my own account, but since the name was used on his, I couldn’t use it on mine. He since has deleted http://__(intentionally withheld)__.wordpress.com so it should be available. Help!!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  Unfortunately, deleting a site doesn’t make its address available. It may be available again in two years. See the Recycling Blog Addresses support page.

  Do you think there’s any way to contact wordpress to ask to have it released?
  Also, what’s your opinion of using my actual name as the blog site?

  There’s no phone support provided. You may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar to call for staff attention.
