  How do I call my site just TazMic and not TazMicdotcom.wordpress etc

  Great question. When it comes to just changing your site name, you can follow the steps outlined here:

  Change a Site Address

  If you’re talking about changing it to something like TazMic.com instead of having WordPress.com on the end you’ll need to purchase that domain if it’s available. You get a free domain with any of the paid plans listed here:
