Site Name and Status Post for Purpose Theme

  Website is monicapirani.com

  1) In the demo for Purpose, the title “Purpose” shows in the upper left hand corner of each page. It appears as white lettering just like the rest of the menu, but when you scroll down it changes to black along with the rest of the menu.

  Where am I supposed to put my site name so that it appears in the upper left hand page.

  2) I have set the post format for my first post as “status” and the home page as a featured content slider, but on the home page I am seeing a large portion of the post instead of a small white box with a “read more” button. How do I fix this?
