Site name and tag line difficulty

  Hi
  I am trying to set up my blog and I’m putting in my site name and tagline but the system won’t seem to let me, every time I put in the site name it switches it back to my domain name and it deletes my tag line altogether.

  I have looked it up in Support and I have followed the instructions but it still won’t work, as i said I’m new so I am open to the possibility that I have gone wrong somewhere

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
