Site name change

  I want to change the subdomain from thisthingcalled.wordpress.com to krrx.wordpress.com . I have checked krrx.wordpress.com and it says it doesn’t exist. However, when I try to change it through the dashboard it says ‘Sorry, this site is reserved!’ Is it possible to still get krrx?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi @kvmaran,
  The site krrx.wordpress.com shows that message because the owner of the site might have changed the blog address or deleted the site completely. When this is done, the address of the deleted site or old address cannot be used by anyone(not even by the user who deleted it).

  This is done to prevent your blog from being impersonated by someone else.

  So… my suggestion is choose another subdomain which is already available.
