site name change
-
I recently changed the name of my site from ordinaryrooart.wordpress to roowaterhouseart.wordpress. But now if someone is visiting my pages and clicks on the home page (my blog) it just comes up as ordinaryrooart.wordpress with a message that the site no longer exists. How come the home page hasn’t changed name along with my other pages?
Help!!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Redirection of links to the old site, wherever they may appear, to the new site won’t automatically happen. You’ll need the Site Redirect upgrade.
How come the home page hasn’t changed name along with my other pages?
I hope that I’ve interpreted this question correctly. If I’ve erred please explain how. The Site Redirect upgrade will result in links to pages and posts on the old site being redirected to the corresponding URLs in the new site, but no action will change the text in links to the old site. For example, if a member has a link to a post in an email message, the site redirect will redirect the link without changing the text. The text in search engine results won’t change. However, eventually Google and other search engines will begin listing pages and posts on the new site and dropping links to the old site from search results.
