Site name is showing 'reserved' when I try and change the wordpress address.

Hello,
Maybe someone can help me. I hope so at least.I’m trying to change my .wordpress.com address (from thelilliangraceshoppe.wordpress.com to lillygracevintage.wordpress.com) to integrate with a change I’ve had with my business name. I would delete this site all together but it generates traffic, is fully indexed, and provides me with decent SEO boosts.
Unfortunately, it is showing that my desired site prefix is ‘reserved.’ Is there any way that this can be reversed so that the name I actually own (as part of my legal domain name, copyright, and trademark) can be free’d up so I can use it? Or am I going to have to go through the courts?
I would have contacted wordpress directly however that seems to be impossible.
Thanks in advanced for any help you can provide.

When we register a username account the matching blog is reserved for our future use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username account.
If and only if you have registered the matching username account log out, clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies. Then log in under the correct username account and as the blog is reserved for you and you will register it after logging in under the correct username account.
https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?user=1However, if you changed your username then the blog URL will not be available for use under the new username account.

Thanks timethief!
Someone around here is going to get an earful for registering the name and not telling anyone — just had a note slipped under my door letting me know one of our team members had registered the username when we decided on the change but “must have forgot to tell” me. Go figure!

There is a means of transferring a blog to another username account. And, if an employee registered it, I think it’s important to do that right away.
Companies, organizations, and groups of any kind do not own blogs. It’s likewise important to know that sharing login information is unsupported and discouraged.
Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.
The blog’s owner must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased upgrades to renew them or to update credit card information, or to transfer the blogs and the upgrades to another username account, or to delete them.
