Site name reserved

    Hi,
    I’m hoping to change my website name from jotorrdesigns.wordpress.com to jotorr.wordpress.com but it says that’s reserved. I have a nasty feeling I’ve done something stupid and that it’s me that’s reserved it. Can someone check for me please?
    Also, is the only way to change to jotorr.com to upgrade to a premium plan or can it be done on the free plan (with a payment just for the address name?) ?

    Hi Jo,

    This website – jotorr.wordpress.com – is reserved for the user with username – jotorr. So you haven’t done anything silly! It’s reserved for a different user.

    However you can register a custom domain instead and this opens up many more possibilities. You will need to purchase our Premium plan which includes a custom domain:
