Site name taken but "dead" blog,

  there is a site name I want that is on a “dead” page. I would really like to have letmeclarifythis.wordpress.com. If you would be so kind as to take a look at it because it is not being used in anyway I can see. I would even pay to have the site if it’s possible. Please let me know when you can:) Denise

  Nobody can do this for you. Staff will not intervene. If the owner of that domain hasn’t left contact information on the blog, you can try leaving a comment, but if that doesn’t work, you’ll have to move on with a different name.

  I appreciate your reply. It’s frustrating when you know what you want and someone has used the name but not done a thing with it. Plus the fact, since it’s a free site, WordPress doesn’t intervene and fix it.

  It’s not rare. I answer this question multiple times a day.

  Why not just lay out the $18 a year to get a custom domain? I tend not to recommend paid upgrades but that is one that will never let you down, provided you keep renewing it.

  I’m avoided spending anymore money, like that plague, since I have been that route. I just want to write what I want so now I am doing that. I got the name I wanted on Blogger. It’s no big deal, but it was nice to get it and not have to pay for it:) Come see me and you’ll get a little better idea what’s been goin on.
