site names

  i’m trying to get my site names back right after deleting them but it seems i still have the web address so i keep getting …blog.wordpress.com as options (i do not like the blog attached) my previous sites names were africaneducator.wordpress.com and irievibesandhairloving.wordpress.com. I deleted them because i thought they were getting mixed up under the one email i had. help me get the site names back pleaseeee :( how do i get them ?

  Hi, @africaneducator,

  I wish I had better news for you but there is a reason you receive multiple warnings when deleting a site.

  Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).

  Options you have going forward:
  1) Create a brand new site for free with a new name. This is why you are getting the .blog option, the system is trying to find a similar name for you but the old one you had is no longer available.
  2) Upgrade your account to a Personal Plan (or higher). This will include a free custom domain. You can then map a name available there to your .wordpress.com site.
