Site no longer working

  I tried downloading the woocommerce stripe plugin and now my site isn’t working. I also can’t log into the admin site. Both pages give me this error:

  Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/includes/class-wc-gateway-stripe.php on line 267

  Hi … just got this message after trying to install the WooCommerce plugin:
  Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in /home3/traders/govicci.com/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/includes/class-wc-gateway-stripe.php on line 267

  Locked out – googled and saw your response above.
  Used the contact link – thank you – BUT the response said they can’t help a ‘free user’.
  Any tips please – can’t move forward or backwards and am on a timeline

  I’m going to guess that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. I might be wrong though, so feel free to leave a URL and we’d be happy to check. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
