Site not adjusting for tablets or phones

  Hi, I’ve created a new site and whatever theme I try it does not work in Safari on an iPhone, I’ve checked old sites I’ve created which change to fit the screen so I tried this new site with the same theme as one of the older ones (Twenty Fourteen) and the new site just stays in desktop style and is tiny and almost impossible to read and navigate! Can you help? Many thanks

  I think I’ve just just worked it out. I’ve done a temporary forward of http://www.beinghumantogether.co.uk and not mapped the domain, I was going to host the site on a different server does that mean it’s not going to work unless I pay for a WordPress plan? Thank you.
