Please pardon the intrusion with a PM. If time permits perhaps you might answer a few questions regarding WP.
1) When typing my URL into Google the site does indeed appear. Is it possible, however, to have it turn up via the blog title: Empire: through a glass darkly? Or–and getting more ambitious–via one of my blog essay titles?
2) The subtitle of my blog–appears in 12 point Times Roman—How would I amend that to resemble a more elegant typeface?
3) Do you know of a tutorial that illustrates the fine points of blogging vis a vis libel? That is, I’d like to know how far I can exercise my First Amendment right to Free Speech without getting in Dutch with, e.g., the latest Wall Street felon?

1) You have just started blogging. You only have two posts. It will take a while (weeks) for Google to get there. Just give it some time.
2) The only way to change that in your current theme is the paid CSS Upgrade http://support.wordpress.com/custom-css/ which I don’t recommend if you have no CSS experience and that is the only thing you want to change. You better switch to a different theme.
