Site not deleting

  Hello,
  I’ve put my sites and the account holding the accounts for deletion. The account was deleted, but the sites are still there after couple of weeks of waiting. Can anyone help me delete these old sites?

  Hi there, if those blogs were under a different account to the one you are posting from, you’ll first need to recover and log in to that account.

  If it’s been less than 30 days since the account was deleted, please immediately respond to the email you received from WordPress.com to reopen the account. Once you’ve successfully done that, you can then delete your above sites.

  The account used to create the sites was deleted more than 30 days ago, and I tried to recover the account many many times, but to no avail: there just wasn’t any response from WordPress.com, email or otherwise. That’s the main reason I’m asking that here, if it is possible to deal with the sites that were left there hanging.

  I was under the impression that the sites will be deleted some time after the account was deleted, as in not immediately (maybe that was a false impression).

  Please ignore my topic: we found a secondary accounts that had access to the sites and I have them now out of sight.
  The automated account recovery still didn’t work, so that’s something to look into.
