Site not letting me customize anything

  I was trying to add a widget to my front page, but the widgets weren’t working. Then I noticed the site wouldn’t let me change anything on the front page besides adding a menu. I tried changing themes and ended up with the same problem. When I switched back, my widgets had all been cleared and now the new theme won’t show my pictures.

  Hi there,

  I’m glad to see you were able to chat with my colleague, Alicia, via our contact form and that she’s reported the issues with the WordPress.com Customizer back to the team.

  She’ll follow up with you as soon as she hears back on a fix and we’re right here if any questions come up in the meantime.

  You can also add widgets via our older interface (which you can by access by adding /wp-admin to the end of your site’s URL) while we wait on a fix for the core problem.
