Site not on WordPress Reader
-
Hi!
I have a self-hosted site on Bluehost. As far as I know I can ‘connect’ my site to the WordPress Reader through the JetPack-Plugin, which I have installed. Regardless, I am not able to find my own blog on the Reader.
I also created a second site (also on Bluehost), which I deleted a short while after. Funny enough, this site (and all the posts I wrote on there) can be found on the Reader. Of course, since the site was deleted, if I click on the link I get forwarded to the 404 – Site not found.
Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?
if it helps, my site is quietschisto.com
the deleted site was de.quietschisto.comThanks a bunch!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The only place you’ll find your site in the Reader at this point is in the site search. Go to https://wordpress.com/following/manage and paste your site’s URL in the top bar, and it will show your site for you there with an option to follow it.
Any WordPress.com user can follow your site in the Reader in this way. You can also create a WordPress.com follow button for your site which you can add via an HTML widget:
For your posts to appear in the posts search and tag listings in the Reader itself, you’ll need to be on a paid Jetpack plan.

Hello Kokkieh!
Thank you for your fast response, by searching for the URL I managed to find my site, although the chances of people trying out “quietschisto.com” are pretty slim :-)
A paid JetPack plan is impossible for me, since I do not have a credit card and it does not seem like there are other payment options (like direct debit).
What I still don’t understand is why I can find my german site (which was deleted on March 22nd) when I search for the tagline (which was shared by both sites).

Hmm, strange…
Now it shows for me too. But I swear, I did the exact same thing 2 days ago and it didn’t show up.
Anyway, it seems that everything’s in order now.
Thank you for your help!
